SPECIFICATIONS

GLASS
All walls and fins are 12mm (1/2") clear tempered glass with finished edges. All holes on the playing side are countersunk and dimensioned to receive special flush mounted fittings and hardware. A clear silicone compound is used to bond all joints. No glass-to-glass or glass-to-metal contact is permitted.

FITTINGS
All glass-to-glass connections are manufactured in hi-tensile GSM Nylatron. All parts are moulded for maximum strength, are uniform in colour and have a minimum thickness of 3/8" (9.5mm).
Tensile strength: 11,000 to 14,000 lb/in²
(773 to 984 kg/cm²)
Hardness durometer: 2.3
Shear strength: 7,700 to 9,500 lb/in²
(541 to 668 kg/cm²)

DOOR and HARDWARE
The door is centrally located and has a flush mounted pull ring handle on the playing side.
A knob set with a positive self-latching connection is used on the exterior. This assembly is milled from a solid block of Nylatron. Hinges are mounted at the quarter points on the court door, thus significantly reducing the deflection of the glass under impact. The lower corner of the door opening is fitted with a rubber-faced stop for additional support.
